This is a deposit for installation and a request for consideration. Purchasing the deposit DOES NOT secure your installation yet. We will follow up with additional information and a specific project quote.

Description
At EXPLORIST.life, we’re dedicated to simplifying and educating you on mobile, marine, and off-grid electrical systems. However, we recognize that electrical systems can be intimidating, complex, and time-consuming. Now we have a solution!
We have outlined what to expect and the steps to get started below. We recommend fully reviewing the information on this page, including the estimated cost breakdowns and installation location prior to requesting an installation date.
Once you have fully reviewed the below information follow these steps to get on our schedule!
How to Book an Installation:
Step 1: Review Our Availability Calendar (click to expand)
Our installations are usually booked 4-6 weeks in advance. You can check our calendar for upcoming availability.
Most installations take between 5–8 days, depending on the complexity of your project. Once you complete the Installation Design Form, the exact timeframe for your project will be communicated to you. This form will become available in your client portal after you pay the $500 installation deposit.
Please note that your drop-off date is NOT GUARANTEED until you have paid your deposit and received confirmation from us.
Step 2: Pay Your Installation Deposit (click to expand)
This deposit will be applied to your final installation invoice upon pick-up. If no unforeseen costs arise during your installation, the full $500 will be refunded to you at that time.
The $500 deposit becomes non-refundable if installation is canceled after the 50% deposit is paid.
Step 3: Complete Your Installation Intake Questionnaire (click to expand)
The Installation Intake Questionnaire gathers the basic essential details needed to begin your project. You’ll receive a detailed Installation Design Form within your client portal after paying the $500 deposit that will guide us in your full system design and layout.
Step 4: System Components & Design (click to expand)
After logging into your client portal, you’ll complete the Installation Design Form. This form guides the selection of components and system design tailored to your off-grid electrical needs and the installation space.
Our installation manager will review your form and address any questions through your client portal. Once the review is complete, you’ll receive a detailed Statement of Work, contract, and quote. Any requested changes to your system layout can be managed within the portal.
Step 5: 50% Deposit & Confirming Your Date (click to expand)
To officially secure your installation date, a 50% deposit of the total installation cost is required.
At this point, your installation date will be confirmed.
Step 6: Installation Layout Review (click to expand)
Once the 50% deposit is paid, you’ll receive a digital mock-up of your installation through your client portal for review and approval.
Step 7: Installation Begins (click to expand)
Your final payment is due 14 days before dropping your rig off at our installation shop.
Drop off your rig, and our expert installation team will get started on your new off-grid electrical system.
Step 8: Pick-Up & System Overview (click to expand)
You’ll receive pick-up details, your customized system overview guide, and a guide on how to use your system through your client portal. At pick-up, we’ll walk you through your system, review how it works, and address any lingering questions.
Step 9: Explore Off-Grid! (click to expand)
You’re all set to embark on your off-grid adventures! Your system installation includes a 5-year warranty and access to virtual support while you’re on the road, ensuring peace of mind wherever your journey takes you.
Ongoing support resources, including system guides and troubleshooting tips, will be accessible through your client portal to ensure you feel confident in using your off-grid electrical system.

Here’s the breakdown:
Your Client Portal
All communication for your system design, system layout, Statement of Work, quotes, payments, and communication with our installation team will be handled through your client portal.
Once you pay your $500 deposit you will receive an email to login to your client portal and get your project started!
Installation Costs:
- EXPLORIST.life pre-designed Kit Installation: $4,500 – $8,500 (does not include system cost)
- Shop EXPLORIST.life pre-designed kits HERE
- Customized Solutions: Hourly fee applies to any projects that are not EXPLORIST.life pre-designed.
- Custom solutions might not be accepted. We will determine the viability of your project after reviewing your Installation Design Form.
- If we do not accept your customized project, your $500 will be refunded in full.

Secure your spot in our schedule! We are currently booking installations 4-6 weeks out.
Your installation slot is not guaranteed until you have paid 50% of your total invoice. The complete scope of your project and the outlined costs will be provided once you submit your Installation Design Form within your client portal. Our installation branch is located in Blue River, Oregon. Travel to us for your installation and explore everything that the beautiful Blue River area has to offer while we install your system!
We Can Travel to You
Our installation team can travel to you, but it will cost you. Our minimum travel fee to cover flights, hotels, travel days, administrative costs, and incidentals is $5,000. Travel to us in Blue River, Oregon to save on those travel fees!
