DIY Electrical Collaboration Consultation

Description

This service is for a 1-hour, 1-on-1 video consultation with one of EXPLORIST.life’s Certified Electrical Installers (NOT with Nate or Steph from EXPLORIST.life).  This service is ideal for those of you who either already have a plan for a particular DIY camper electrical project or for those who are just getting started and have specific questions about HOW to get started.  This is also good for a Q&A session to cover whatever questions you feel our installers could answer.

These consultations are available and appropriate for DIYers who are installing systems based on EXPLORIST.life wiring diagrams. If you’ve followed another diagram from another source, please seek guidance from that source.

What is a DIY Electrical Collaboration Consultation?

Our DIY Electrical Collaboration Consultations are a one hour consultation with an EXPLORIST.life Certified Electrical Installer. These consultations are designed for the DIYer who needs just a bit of additional direction before getting started. Our network of Certified Electrical Installers will guide you on your project and get you started so that you can finish your installation with confidence.

Who are EXPLORIST.life Certified Electrical Installers?

EXPLORIST.life Certified Electrical Installers are electrical camper installers who have been fully vetted by EXPLORIST.life. This network of installers has the full technical support backing of EXPLORIST.life and are using the tried and true EXPLORIST.life electrical designs.

Questionnaire:

You will receive a questionnaire prior to your scheduled consultation call. Please complete this in full and with as many details as possible about your project so that we can best prepare for your consultation. We will use this to maximize our time answering your specific questions and not have to spend your time fact-finding.

Managing Expectations:

This consultation is with an EXPLORIST.life Certified Electrical Installer who has been vetted and receives direct support from us here at EXPLORIST.life but is NOT a consultation directly with Nate or Steph from EXPLORIST.life.

After booking, you will be put in contact with a Certified Electrical Installer near you or one that can offer virtual services if there is no installer near you. We will do our best to accommodate your schedule and needs. Please put as much information as possible in your order notes.

This consultation is for Electrical services ONLY and does not cover additional DIY Camper building.

This service does NOT include the creation of custom wiring diagrams, wiring diagram reviews, or unlimited access to our installers via email after the call.  

If additional consultation is needed after the booking, you will be responsible for additional consulting charges directly from your installer.

Meeting Logistics:

These consultations are held on the Zoom video conferencing platform.  In your confirmation email and the meeting reminders, there will be a link you can click or a phone number to call to join the consulting call.  You will not be receiving a traditional phone call.  More information will arrive in your meeting confirmation email.

We recommend logging in a few minutes early for your call to ensure your video and audio is working properly before your meeting time starts. We will not extend meeting times for technical difficulties on your end.

Cancelations, Rescheduling, and No Show Policy

If you do not show up for the consultation within the first 10 minutes of the call, it will be considered a no-call no-show.  In the event of a no-call no-show, your payment for the consultation will be refunded less a no-call no-show fee of $50.

If you need to reschedule your call, please let us know at least 24 hours before your scheduled meeting time.

If you need to cancel your call, please let us know at least 24 hours before your scheduled meeting time. All cancelations are subject to a 4% cancelation fee.

Cancelations or rescheduling with less than 24 hours notice will be subject to a $50 no-call no-show fee.
