1600W Solar Charging Wiring Kit (8x 200W | 12V Battery Bank)

This solar charging wiring kit includes everything you need to be able to connect 8x 200w solar panels in series-parallel to your Victron Lynx Distributor that is charging your 12V battery bank.

NOTE: The MPPT 150/100 is ‘technically’ only rated to 1440W. 1440W charging a 12V battery bank at 14.4V is 100A (1440W / 14.4V = 100A).  A 1600W array charging a 12V battery bank at 14.4V would be charging the battery bank at 111A (1600W / 14.4V = 111A) on a perfectly clear cold day. There is no danger with the amperage exceeding 100A as the MPPT 150/100 will ‘cap’ the amperage at 100A output and the rest of the power would simply not be used. The only other alternative would be to break the array up into two separate arrays.
