The Victron Quattro-II 12/3000/120-50/50 2x120V is a 3,000VA pure sine wave inverter and 120A charger, designed for 12V battery systems in off-grid, mobile, and backup power applications. With dual AC inputs and automatic switching, it seamlessly manages power between shore power and a generator. Its split-phase 2x120V output makes it ideal for North American RVs, off-grid cabins, and marine applications requiring 120/240V capability when used in pairs.
Note: The minimum battery bank size for this inverter/charger to work properly is 400Ah.
FEATURES OF THE VICTRON QUATTRO-II 2×120 INVERTER/CHARGER (click to expand)
The Victron Quattro-II is a powerful, multi-functional inverter/charger designed for off-grid, mobile, and backup power applications. It features dual AC inputs with automatic switching, allowing seamless integration with shore power and a generator. With a pure sine wave inverter, adaptive charging, and PowerAssist technology, the Quattro-II prevents overloads and optimizes battery charging for efficient energy management.
PowerAssist
The Quattro-II will prevent overload of a limited AC source, such as a generator or shore power connection. First, battery charging will automatically be reduced when otherwise an overload would occur. The second level will boost the output of a generator or shore side supply with power taken from the battery.
Remote Monitoring and Control
When coupled with a GX device (e.g. Cerbo GX) you can monitor and control your Multi and system or systems’ locally (LAN) or remotely via the internet from anywhere in the world, using the VRM app and VRM portal website. Access can be from a phone, tablet, laptop or PC for multiple operating systems. There is no end to the level of control, from adjusting your Multi to auto starting a backup generator and more…
Two AC Inputs/Outputs
The Quattro-II can be connected to two independent AC sources, for example shore-side power and a generator, or two generators. The Quattro-II will automatically connect to the active source. The main output has no-break functionality. In the event of a grid failure, or shore or generator power being disconnected, the Quattro-II takes over the supply to the connected loads. This happens so fast (less than 20 milliseconds) that computers and other electronic equipment will continue to operate without disruption. The second output is live only when AC is available on one of the inputs of the Quattro-II. Loads that should not discharge the battery, such as air-conditioning or a water heater can be connected to this output.
