Our Firmware Updates service ensures your Victron system is running the latest and most reliable software—without you lifting a finger. Performed remotely or in-person by our expert team, we log into your Victron VRM portal, update all compatible devices, and double-check that every setting remains properly configured post-update. This service helps prevent bugs, improves performance, and maintains system compatibility, all while giving you peace of mind that everything is operating as it should. Included in all membership tiers, or available à la carte for $99. Requires a Cerbo GX or Ekrano GX with internet access.

What Happens After Purchase?

  1. Once you’ve purchased your service—either individually or as part of a membership—you’ll receive an email titled “Important Next Steps.”
  2. Simply reply to that email or contact us at support@explorist.life, and one of our expert customer service technicians will reach out to schedule your service.

What to Expect for your Firmware Updates

We schedule Firmware Update appointments on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, drop-off time at 9am PST for in-person appointments.

For remote sessions, please consult with our Service Technicians (next tab)

Appointments are scheduled for 2 hours. Once we’ve completed your Firmware Updates, you’ll have a turn-key system ready to go!

The base cost for your Firmware Updates appointment is $99 (for non-members) which includes:

  • Done-for-you firmware update of all Victron-connected devices
  • Post-update configuration check
  • Confirmation that system is operating correctly

After your Firmware Updates, you’ll receive a summary of the adjustments made and a fully functioning system—ready for your next off-grid adventure


Warranties (click to expand)

If any component is found to be dysfunctional due to a malfunction or improper wiring, it may need to be replaced. If you’ve purchased your components through EXPLORIST.life and followed our installation diagrams, and the components are not functioning properly, we will determine if they are covered under the manufacturer’s warranty and handle the warranty claim/replacement for you..

For components purchased from another source, you’ll need to work directly with your distributor to process any warranty claims.
